Progeo Molini is a key part of the Progeo sca group, the largest service company in the Italian agribusiness sector. Founded in 1992 from the unification of cooperatives in Emilia Romagna, it inherited a history that began in the immediate postwar period. Progeo Molini fits into this context with a clear purpose: to offer quality flours in a transparent, genuine way that is mindful of responsible land use. To achieve this goal we bring to bear the knowledge and skills of the contributing members, research technicians and those involved in the production of our flours every day. It is this spirit of sharing that sees the customer as the focus of daily work.

Our Mission Statement
SUPERIOR QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY We make the highest quality flours, using selected wheat and following strict production processes to ensure a safe and wholesome product.
CONTROLLED AND SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN Our corporate structure allows us to have an integrated production chain that controls the entire process, from wheat cultivation to milling, ensuring environmental and social sustainability.
PASSION FOR TRADITION AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION We combine a passion for milling tradition with the use of advanced technologies to offer innovative products in line with customers’ needs.
Increasingly sustainable
Our approach to sustainability is rooted in a deep attachment to the land and respect for people and nature.
Protecting biodiversity is an important aspect for Progeo, which was the first mill in Italy to introduce a line of organic flours
In fact, we have been working in the organic sector for more than 30 years, also contributing to the founding of the Consortium for the Control of Organic Products (CCPB)
At the end of 2022, we were the first Italian end user to join the Energy Efficiency Movement (EEM), a worldwide movement aimed at raising awareness and taking concrete steps to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in order to combat climate change.
In 2023, on an 8,000-square-meter plot adjacent to the Mill, we installed a park dedicated to environmental development. 120 native varieties of trees have been placed as well as several honey bee floras for beekeeping. We then installed bee hives, two dove towers for pigeon population control, preventing their capture or removal to the city area, several benches and picnic tables, as well as two electric car charging stations.
